The KX-TVA200 is the KX-TVA50's substantially larger "twin" brother. Improvements to this model include expandability up to 24 ports and 1000 hours of message storage as well as the capability of adding an internal modem card in order to faciliate programming of the voicemail system from remote locations.
The
new features
deliver increased value and performance to customers that rely on our
products to stay in touch with their customers. Features like
intelligent call routing and interactive telephone displays are now
possible.
Unified
Messaging (E-mail Integration)
The
Linux based KX-TVA acts as a client side PC in your LAN environment
supporting POP3 and SMTP protocols allowing it to be easily installed
to deliver voice messages through your LAN. The system has options to
send an e-mail notification to the user each time a message is left in
their mailbox or, send the actual message as a wave file attachment.
Users can specify their schedule (Time Frame) for each day of the week
to send e-mail, and they also have the option to delete the original
voice message from their voice mailbox after the email is sent.
After
the TVA receives a voice message for a user it then sends an E-Mail
notification to the user or attaches the voice mail to the Email. This
feature is simple Unified Messaging which is now a standard feature on
all TVA products and can be used even on the KX-TA824 product line.
When this feature is used with a KX-TVA50 you must install an optional
LAN interface card. The LAN interface card is built into the KX-TVA200
so no additional hardware or software is required.
Interactive LCD Voice Mail Menus
When
the KX-TVA product is added to a KX-TDA phone system the telephone
displays are interactive with the KX-TVA voice Mail. As a unified
platform these products work together to share information including
routing information and telephone key and display operations. The added
benefit to an end user is clear as day; no longer do they need to
remember all the key codes to handle voice messages.
When
a user calls the voice mail to retrieve their messages the voice mail
provides the appropriate screen display for the user to select a
function. The displays are not accompanied by audio prompts which
speeds the retrieval of messages for a user.
Report Enhancement
The
Administrator can generate various system reports in order to monitor
VPS operations. Reports can be displayed on a PC, printed or exported.
