Viking C-1000 Module

This multi-feature module is used to allow door intercom speakers and paging amplifiers to operate on a single phone line. Single-line phones and phone systems are capable of sharing a phone line with one or two door speakers or paging amplifiers. Additionally, the C-1000 provides two touch-tone controlled contact closures in order to operate door strikes or gate openers. The module sends what is perceived as a "call waiting" tone to a phone in use, and the person on the phone may press # to put a caller on hold and talk to a person at the door or gate.
