What's New with the KX-TA824?

To start with, the system is initially configured to support 3 CO lines and 8 extensions; it can grow to a maximum configuration of 8 CO lines (2 more than the KX-TA624) and 24 extensions. It comes with a pre-installed Caller ID Card for the first 3 CO lines. Some of the new features are:

Extension Caller ID: the system supports Caller ID to single line telephones.

3 Level Auto Attendant Using DISA: two additional message levels have been added to DISA, expanding your options to easily direct callers to the appropriate person or department.

Windows Based PC Programming: provides easy to use configuration options for onsite programming with the built in RS232 or USB ports, or it can be used remotely with the KX-TA824 built-in modem card.

Local Carrier Based Voice Mail Compatibility: for each CO line, the system provides a visual indication on the telephone that a message is in your CO voice mailbox and simple access to retrieve your messages.

Note: Be advised that other combinations will not work.
You cannot install a TA82481 (2X8 card) with a TA82470 (0X8 card) on the same system.
